2020 has arrived as we get ready to wave good-bye to the frantic holiday pace of 2019. It is the perfect time to plan and schedule your salon promotions and marketing plan to begin 2020 well. You can start now to build your brand, attract new customers, and increase client retention.Here are some simple yet effective tools and tips to focus your efforts leading to a new business year.
1) Develop a strategic promotional calendar for the whole year
> Plan service promotions during traditionally slower times in the salon
> Schedule 6 Retail Promotions that run for at least 6 weeks to provide purchasing incentives to your entire cycle of clients.
> Showcase your salon services with 2 Gift Card Savings Campaigns and advertise them.

> Make signs/posters with seasonal/holiday hours, countdown on popular items, gift ideas, gift cards with holiday themes.
3) Review and update your online footprint
Your digitial/online footprint is FREE advertising ‘telling’ potential clients about your brand. Treat these channels as you would the front window of your business:
> Update your Google profile by uploading in season images and any upcoming special dates. Ensure that all information is correct including your hours and contact information.
